About The Event
Each sub-theme session will include a keynote presentation discussed with a supporting respondent expert and audience participation. Participants will then be engaged in further presentations of evidence from academic practice, discussing concerns, findings from research and evaluations, and reflecting on achievements. CDE appreciates that over the last year, rapid innovation in digital practice has challenged and even changed our perspectives on teaching and learning. To share experiences further, we will close each sub-themed session with breakout room-style social networking opportunities.
Previously, RIDE conferences have attracted a wide range of researchers and practitioners from higher education, and this online format allows us to expand our boundaries and gain insights from around the world, promoting opportunities for collaboration.Â
Our keynote events include:
- On digital inequalities, Professor Ellen Helsper, Department of Media and Communications at LSE.Â
- Professor Neil Morris, Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Digital Transformation, University of Leeds, on innovation in digital practice
- Dr.Linda Amrane-Cooper and Professors Stylianos Hatzipanagos and Alan Tait, CDE, on the transition to online assessment.Â
