Faculty of Engineering
Empowering Future QS Professionals
Overview
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology is committed to delivering high-quality education and pioneering research across a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines. Our programmes are designed to equip students with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to excel in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.
The Department of Quantity Surveying (QS) specialises in the financial and contractual management of construction projects, emphasising cost control, risk management, and sustainable building practices. Students gain hands-on experience in project valuation, procurement methods, and contract administration, preparing them for professional roles within the construction and built environment sectors.
IQSSL Recognition is there for the National Diploma in QS at ICST University Park. Once individuals complete this, they can obtain the Probationary membership, which automatically leads to the vision of a Graduate Quantity Surveyor.
The Department of Maritime Studies provides comprehensive education and research related to the maritime and shipping industries, including navigation, logistics, maritime law, and environmental management. This department aims to develop competent professionals capable of addressing the challenges faced by the global maritime sector, with a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainable maritime operations.
At ICST, our Faculty of Engineering and Technology fosters an interdisciplinary approach, encouraging collaboration between departments to tackle complex engineering problems. Students benefit from access to state-of-the-art laboratories, industry partnerships, and research projects that bridge theory and real-world application.
