Higher Diploma in Information Technology

This qualification aims to provide learners with an excellent foundation for a career across a variety of organisations. It is designed to ensure that each learner is ‘business ready’—a confident, independent thinker with detailed knowledge of Information Technology, equipped with the skills to adapt swiftly to change. The qualification is ideal for those who have started, or are planning to enter, a career in either the private or public sector.

Entry Requirements

    • GCE Advanced level in 3 subjects in any stream at one sitting or equivalent qualification OR

    • Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 Diploma or equivalent OR

    • Completion of Certificate in Business and IT AND

    • Passes in O-Level English and Mathematics are required.

The Degree in Applied Information Technology programme is designed to equip students with both practical and theoretical knowledge across various areas of IT, including software development, data management, networking, cyber security, and systems analysis.
